KCPT on Foreclosures in Kansas City

KCPT explored the Kansas City area foreclosure issue by telling the story of a house located in northeast Kansas City, Mo. The house bought in 2004 with a subprime mortgage, foreclosed on in a couple of years, vacated, stripped, occupied by vagrants and even still yields evidence of how it once provided a home and shelter to a family. The story is told by Michael Duffy, an attorney with Legal Aid of Western Missouri who researched the recent history of the house.
